Loughner's current stay in Mo. ends Thursday

PHOENIX (AP) - Thursday marks the end of the Tucson shooting rampage suspect's current stay at a Missouri prison facility where he's undergoing treatment in a bid to make him mentally fit to stand trial.
It's unknown when Jared Lee Loughner will be moved to Tucson for a June 27 hearing over whether he's ready for trial.
U.S. District Judge Larry Burns ordered that Loughner will remain in Missouri pending further notice.
Burns has twice found that Loughner isn't ready for trial, but has said in the past that he believes the suspect can eventually be made mentally fit.
Loughner has pleaded not guilty to 49 charges stemming from the January 2011 shooting that killed six people and wounded former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 12 others.
