Stolen truck found with almost 2,000 pounds of marijuana

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Border Patrol agents found an abandoned pickup truck with almost 2,000 pounds of marijuana, using detection technology at the Ajo Station.
The truck was reported stolen out of Phoenix and contained 82 bundles, worth an estimated $933,500.
Authorities turned over the truck to the Tohono O'odham Police Department.
The operation was part of the West Desert Task Force, a collaboration between Tucson Border Patrol, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
