73-year-old man attacked by bee swarm

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 73-year-old man was stung several hundred times after he was attacked by a swarm of bees.
Pat Quinn with Tucson Fire tells KGUN9 the 9-1-1 was made by the victim’s wife to the 4700 block of South Paseo Melodioso. She stated that he was covered from head to toe.
The man had been outside his home where he was trying to exterminate the swarm with pesticide when the bees attacked. He ran back inside the home and called his wife.
The victim was stung several hundred times and was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.
