TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The parents of 6-year-old Isabel Mercedes Celis, missing since Saturday, addressed the media this afternoon.
Rebecca Celis stated, "to the millions of people around the world who continue to pray and volunteer their time and endless efforts. We do not want you to focus on anything but Isa being returned to us. We are here today to plea for a safe return of our baby girl Isabel."
Then Sergio Celis addressed the media and said, "we are cooperating to the fullest extent with the investigation. We are increasing the reward. Just please, please to the person or persons who has Isabel tell us your demands. Tell us what you want, we will do anything for her. We are looking for you Isa we love you and we miss you so much. We will never give up we will never give up looking for you."
Both parents read the statements in both English and Spanish and were wearing t-shirts that read, "Bring Isa Home."
Police have shifted their focus to searching washes and desert areas. At this time, the investigation is still being considered a search operation, not a recovery operation.
