Aircraft accident leaves one person with minor injuries

ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - One person has sustained minor injuries following a light sport aircraft accident at La Cholla Air Park.
Golder Ranch Fire and Northwest Fire crews respond to the air park which is located at 1700 West Cessna Way.
Captain Josh Hurguy with Golder Ranch Fire KGUN9 the glider touched down and was lifted up by a wind gust. When the glider was touching down again, the nose wheel collapsed. That caused the glider to turn on its side, causing the wings to break off.
One person, who was wearing a helmet, was treated and released on scene.
