20-year-old dies in fatal collision

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff 's Traffic Unit is currently investigating a single vehicle collision at the 3200 block of East Holladay Street that happened on Monday around 5 a.m.
When deputies first arrived at the scene they found a red Toyota passenger vehicle hit a brick wall, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department. The driver, 20-year-old Luis Carlos Zapien Duran, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle.
Investigators suspect the vehicle was traveling westbound on Holladay Street when it crossed to the south shoulder of the roadway and struck a brick wall.
Pima County Sheriff's Traffic Unit will continue to investigate to see if speed, alcohol, and drugs are possible factors in the collision.
