Phoenix man accused of assaulting federal officers

PHOENIX, Ariz. (AP) - A Phoenix man has been indicted on suspicion of assaulting two federal law enforcement officers on duty at the Grand Canyon last month.
Federal prosecutors say 42-year-old Anthony Keith Swint faces two counts of assault on a federal officer.
He's accused of kicking both of the National Park officers and biting one officer on March 21 as they were trying to detain him.
Authorities say the officers found Swint working on his car, which had broken down outside of the El Tovar Hotel.
Officials say Swint became belligerent and began yelling obscenities at them.
They detained Swint for refusing to show his driver's license. After being taken to the Grand Canyon Booking Facility, Swint continued to act aggressively and allegedly bit one of the officers as they tried to control him.
