PHOENIX (AP) - Four more suspects have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man in a Phoenix apartment parking lot.
Phoenix police say 19-year-old Joshua Lofton, 36-year-old Kelly Anderson, 31-year-old Preston Reece and 52-year-old Ralph Terrazas were arrested Wednesday in connection with the April 1 death of 20-year-old Zar Xavier Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was found in his car with a gunshot wound and later died of his injuries at an apartment complex.
Police believe 28-year-old Robert Peters conspired to lure Gonzalez to the apartment to rob him under the pretext of a drug exchange. That led to an exchange of gunfire and Peters and Gonzalez were shot.
Peters was treated for his injuries at a hospital. Police say he remains jailed on suspicion of first-degree murder.
