DPS identifies woman killed in I-19 collsion

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Alexis Yvette Real, 20, from Rio Rico was identified as the woman killed in a collision on Interstate 19 on March 30.
Officer Quentin Mehr with DPS tells KGUN9 that the single vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 19, kilometer 33.9.
Through their investigation, DPS has determined a Nissan passenger vehicle was southbound on Interstate 19 when the driver lost control of the vehicle after the right rear tire failed. The vehicle ran off the road and rolled over, says Mehr.
Real, who was not wearing safety restraints, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The passenger, 24-year-old Joe Martinez, from Rio Rico was also not wearing safety restraints and was transported to UAMC for treatment of injuries.
