Motorcyclist dead after collision with semi-truck

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - A motorcycle collided with a semi-truck at approximately 1:20 a.m., near West Ruthrauff Road and West Ruth Street.
Foothills deputies responded to the call and found the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The man was identified the man was 48 year-old, Johnathan Davies.
According to the Pima County Sheriff's Traffic Unit investigators, Davies was traveling eastbound on Ruthrauff Road when he entered the westbound land of travel and hit the semi-truck.
Davies was not wearing a helmet.
Officials are yet to confirm if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
