Hit-and-run suspect arrested by Nogales Police

NOGALES, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Nogales Police have arrested 18-year-old Gerardo Alexander Morago-Platt, the suspect in a fatal hit -and-run investigation that occurred on March 1.
Lt. Carlos Jimenez with Nogales PD tells KGUN that in accident occurred in the 100 block of East Beck Street.
With the assistance from the Diplomatic Security Service, Department of State and Nogales Sonora Mexico Law, authorities were able to take Morago-Platt into custody without incident.
Morago-Platt was transported and booked into the Santa Cruz County Adult Detention Center.
