Willcox fire destroys hotel building

TUCSON(KGUN9-TV) - Firefighters from The Willcox Rural Fire Department as well as the Sunsites Fire Department reported to a call of a structural fire just after 10:30 a.m., Sunday.
Authorities state the fire originated at the Desert Inn Hotel, on the 700 block of S. Haskell in Willcox, Arizona.
When emergency crews arrived, they were able to extinguish the flames and prevent the surrounding structures from catching fire.
Although the hotel building was a total loss, no injuries have been reported at this time, according to investigators.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
