Driver killed in semi-truck rollover

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The driver of a semi-truck has succumbed fatally to his injuries after his truck rolled into a wash.
Dan Murphy, 44, was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The rollover accident occurred Saturday just after 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
Authorities report the driver of the semi-truck completely lost control of his vehicle. Despite all efforts he was unsuccessful in preventing the truck from rolling into the Tanque Verde Wash, near Tanque Verde and Camino Principal, on Tucson's east side.
Authorities state the truck was too near the edge of an access road, which caused it to roll despite the driver's best efforts to the contrary.
