Escaped inmate taken back into custody

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -An Arizona Department of Corrections inmate who escaped earlier Friday morning has been taken back into custody.
Samuel Penrod, 38, walked away from the Department's Bush Ranch where he worked on the irrigation crew, according to Arizona Department of Corrections.
Local law enforcement, Arizona Department of Corrections chase teams, and the U.S. Marshals Service took part in the search for Penrod. He was arrested just before 9 a.m. by the Pinal County Sheriff's office, according to Arizona Department of Corrections.
Penrod is currently serving a five year sentence for burglary.
