TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man.
Sgt. Matt Ronstadt tells KGUN9 that on Thursday night, police received a 9-1-1 call reporting a fight and a possible stabbing near the 200 block of East Pastime Road.
Officers responded to the residence and found the victim, described as a Caucasian male in his 20’s, suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local trauma center where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives have determined the victim and another male were involved in a physical confrontation inside a residence. The female resident called 9-1-1 after breaking up the confrontation and observing that one of the males was bleeding heavily.
The suspect fled from the scene on foot prior to officers arriving on scene.
Police urge anyone with information about this crime to contact 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
