Sheriff searching for armed robbery suspect

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating an armed robbery and need the help of the public in locating the suspect.
According to Deputy Dawn Barkman, on March 20, an African American male entered the Quik Mart store located at 900 West Roger Road and told the clerk, “Do what I say and you won’t get hurt.”
The suspect indicated he had a weapon and had his hand in his coat pocket, implying a weapon. The clerk complied and gave the suspect money from the register. The suspect also took thirty cigarette lighters from a display case and fled from the store, says Barkman.
The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 40-50 years-old, approximately 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing black jeans, white t-shirt, black jacket with a hoodie and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the in incident or can identify the suspect is asked to contact 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
