Operation Deep Freeze called into effect by Salvation Army

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Operation Deep Freeze has been called into effect by The Salvation Army.
Tamara McElwee, spokesperson with The Salvation Army, tells KGUN9 Operation Deep Freeze is back in effect today, March 18 as wet, winter temperatures are hitting Tucson.
Beginning today at 3:00 p.m., The Salvation Army will open its doors to anyone needing shelter.
People needing a place to stay should go to The Salvation Army’s Hospitality House, 1021 North 11th Avenue. There they will be provided access to a warm shower, hot meal and transportation to overnight accommodations.
