SAN LUIS, Ariz. (AP) - Construction will begin Monday on a project to add two vehicle lanes at the San Luis port of entry in southwestern Arizona.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the expansion is aimed at improving the inspection process as the port continues to grow.
Officials say travelers entering the United States should be able to notice significant improvements in traffic flows there once the project is completed.
The port currently has six lanes.
The project is expected to be completed in mid-July.
