TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff is asking for the help of the public in identifying some burglary suspects.
Deputy Dawn Barkman tells KGUN9 that on February 15, deputies responded to an audible residential alarm in the 1100 block of East Placita Rana.
Upon arrival, deputies found a door to the residence was unlocked and opened.
Contact was made with the homeowners by telephone when deputies determined there had been a possible burglary. The homeowner (victim) arrived home and advised deputies that a wallet was missing which contained her bank card. When the victim checked the status of her credit card online, she realized that there were several charges she did not make, says Barkman.
Through their investigation, detectives learned that charges were made at Maya Fashion, McDonalds, and several Circle K's.
One suspects is described as an African-American male with a dark complexion and stocky build. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray hooded jacket. He was also wearing a black beanie.
The second suspects is described as a Caucasian female with long brown hair and a thin build. She was last seen wearing a short sleeved powder blue t-shirt and black jeans.
On February 16, the female was identified attempting to gain access to the victim’s checking account at Compass Bank located in the 7600 block of North La Cholla Blvd.
Anyone with information regarding the burglaries or possible identities of the suspects or suspect
vehicle is asked to contact 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
