2 dead in accident near Wilmot exit on I-10

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Two Tucson men died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate-10 near the Wilmot Road exit Tuesday afternoon. Police have released their names and details of the accident.
Investigators say 38 year old Robert McKone of Tucson lost control of his pickup truck, crossed the median and entered opposite, eastbound traffic. His truck collided with an SUV and then was struck by a car driven by 46 year old Brian Kingsbury of Tucson.
McKone was pronounced dead at the scene. Kingsbury was airlifted to UMC but was pronounced dead a few hours later.
A 67 year old Vail man who was driving the SUV was unhurt.
