Josiah Turner suspended for rest of season

TUCSON (KGUN9 TV) -- Arizona coach Sean Miller extended the suspension of freshman point guard Josiah Turner through the end of the season. However, Miller stopped short of saying Turner was permanently suspended from the team.
"When our season ends then we’ll be able to take the next step and get on the same page with Josiah moving forward," Miller said. "That shouldn’t be interpreted that he’ll never play at Arizona again but I know that he won’t play this season again."
Turner was suspended before the Pac-12 Tournament for violating unspecified team rules. This came after a suspension for UA's Dec. 7th game at Florida for violating team rules, and getting benched on Nov. 9th against Duquesne for being late to a team shootaround.
Miller says Turner's future status with the team is up to him.
"It's as much his choice as mine. I'm not telling any player on our team that he doesn’t have the option to come back but it’s more about the path that Josiah wants to go from this point forward that will determine if he's at Arizona or whether he will choose to get a new beginning."
