Pesdestrian hit by vehicle and killed

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 57-year-old man is dead, after he was struck by a vehicle late Friday night on the 1000 block of West Roger Road and North Palm Grove Road, east of Flowing Wells Road, according to authorities.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a man down. When deputies arrived they found the man was dead and lying on the road.
The man appeared to have been struck by a vehicle and possibly dragged, according to Pima County Sheriff's spokeswoman Dawn Barkman.
Barkman says the victim is a Hispanic male. His name is not being released at this time, pending notification of next-of-kin.
The suspect vehicle is mostly damaged on the front end , according to Barkman.
Traffic Unit investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area of West Roger Road and North Palm Grove Road and seen anything suspicious to call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
