Arrest made in McDonald's drive-thru robbery

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - South Tucson Police have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a McDonald’s on February 20.
Sgt. Jeff Inorio with South Tucson PD tells KGUN9 they have arrested Manuel Francisco Rodriguez Gonzalez in connection with the robbery of the McDonald’s Restaurant at the 1900 block of South 6th Avenue.
A second suspect, identified as Steven Anthony Solares, is still outstanding. A third suspect has not been identified.
Back on February 20, the suspects entered the McDonald’s Restaurant through the drive-in window. They held the store manager at gunpoint, forcing her to open a safe. The suspects got away with an undetermined amount of cash and personal belongings.
Anyone with information about this robbery or the outstanding suspects is asked to contact 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
