CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Phoenix police officer accused of sexually assaulting three women is the focus of a criminal investigation.
Ricardo Orosco voluntarily met with Chandler police detectives Tuesday about allegations from the woman about being assaulted in Chandler during the last six months.
The 29-year-old Orosco lives in Chandler and has worked for the Phoenix Police Department for six years.
The East Valley Tribune (http://bit.ly/AsjZTq) says investigators plan to submit the case to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for review so prosecutors can decide whether to move forward with any charges.
Chandler police say Orosco wasn't arrested and was released to his attorney after Tuesday afternoon's meeting.
Phoenix police say Orosco was placed on administrative leave last Thursday in an unrelated case involving another department employee.
