Honduran man taken into custody for sexual abuse

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The trial for a Honduran man accused of the sexual abuse of a minor will begin in April.
Hernan Ramirez-Orteja, 37, has been indicted on charges of one count of aggravated sexual abuse by use of force or threats and one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a person under the age of 12.
If convicted, Ramirez-Orteja faces from 30 years to life in prison.
His trial is scheduled to begin before District Judge Cindy K. Jorgenson on April 24 in Tucson.
