Collison on 1-10 near Houghton

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Two vehicles were involved in a collision westbound on Interstate 10 under the Houghton overpass this morning.
Westbound traffic at Houghton is closed at this time, according to Officer Quentin Mehr with DPS. All traffic heading westbound in the area is being routed off at the Houghton off ramp and then being routed back onto Interstate 10 at the Houghton on ramp.
DPS is asking motorists to avoid the area, if possible. It is not clear yet when all lanes will reopen.
There is no word yet on if anyone was injured in the collision.
