Marana police investigating attempted child abduction

MARANA- (KGUN9-TV) - The Marana Police Department is investigating the attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl Wednesday afternoon.
It took place in the Sky Ranch neighborhood on Thornydale and Tangerine Roads.
Marana police tell KGUN9 that a male in his 50's, driving a white box van with tinted windows, verbally demanded the girl to get in his vehicle.
She said no, and the man drove off.
He is described as possibly Caucasian, with blonde hair and green eyes. He was wearing a white t-shirt and police say there is damage to one side of his van.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Marana police or 88-CRIME.
