Huachuca City authorities raid suspected puppy mill

HUACHUCA CITY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Huachuca City police removed dozens of dogs from a home Tuesday and authorities suspect an illegal puppy mill operation.
According to authorities, Officers found and removed 31 pit bulls around 9 a.m. Tuesday, including about nine puppies, from a home on the 200 block of Grant Street.
Authorities say several tarp-covered chain-link kennels were found in the backyard.
Police also say multiple bottles of worm medication, saline solution and syringe needles, among other items, were found at the house.
Police have made no arrests at this time, but the police department has positively identified the suspects and expects to make at least two arrests in connection with the suspected illegal breeding operation.
