Mexican man dies trying to climb border fence

NOGALES, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Nogales Police say a Mexican man died around 9:00 p.m. on Monday night trying to climb the border fence west of the west port of entry.
Lt. Carlos Jimenez tells KGUN9 that the 44-year-old from Oaxaca, Mexico fell trying to climb to the U.S. side. Trauma to his head and neck area caused the fatal injury on the U.S. side of the fence.
Police are waiting to release his name, pending notification of the family.
