NOGALES, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - A Nogales man was arrested Tuesday during a routine traffic stop when officers found methamphetamine and cocaine in his vehicle.
Officers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety tell KGUN9 that 32-year-old Ricardo Siqueiros, a charter school teacher in Nogales, was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail on charges of possession and transportation of dangerous and narcotic drugs for sale.
Siqueiros was pulled over for speeding in a construction zone and following another vehicle too closely on I-10 near Eloy.
He agreed to a search of his vehicle, and officers found almost 20 pounds of methamphetamine and 12 pounds of cocaine in a false compartment in the rear floorboard of his car.
The combined value of the drugs is about $300,000.
