TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson's Modern Streetcar Project is progressing, but it's going to cause some traffic tie-ups downtown.

Southwest Gas crews will be working in the downtown area to move some gas lines so the project can continue.

Travel restrictions will start Thursday through February 10.

This will affect the areas along Broadway and Congress between Fourth Avenue and Granada Avenue.

Scott Avenue between Broadway and Jackson Street will be reduced to only one lane from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

There will be flaggers and signs to help direct traffic.
