TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating a shooting scene near 3rd Avenue & Speedway.

Authorities were called to the scene around 3:40 p.m. Friday afternoon.

When they arrived minutes later they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was concious and talking, telling police he did not want to prosecute the shooter(s).

Paramedics took the man to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.
