TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A family of four has been displaced after a blaze on Thursday afternoon.
Captain Trish Tracy with Tucson Fire tells KGUN9 that a resident from a home in the 1600 block of West Thorne Street called 9-1-1 after noticing the smell of smoke.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from all of the entrances to the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the damages to the home have been estimate at $100,000, says Tracy.
A cat and a fish were lost in the blaze, says Tracy.
The American Red Cross will be assisting the family.
