AZ drivers affected by I-10 closure in New Mexico

PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Department of Transportation says motorists traveling on Interstate 10 in the Willcox area can expect snowy conditions as a winter storm concentrated in New Mexico is bringing snow to Cochise County on Friday.
ADOT crews are removing snow from I-10 and de-icing bridges near Willcox. Travelers in that area are advised to reduce speed and drive with caution. The New Mexico Department of Transportation has closed I-10 from point six miles east of the Arizona state line all the way to Las Cruces to allow crews to remove snow from the interstate.
Reports indicate that section of I-10 could remain closed throughout the day.
