Hundreds pack Fourth Ave. for annual street fair

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) – Organizers with The Fourth Avenue Street Fair are optimistic that the 42nd annual event will attract the largest crowd, yet.
Kurt Tallis the event’s director says with the wet and cold weather last weekend, he’s hoping people are itching for outdoor activities this weekend.
“It’s huge for the city of Tucson. The tax revenues that come in and it is really big for my merchants. I have 100 merchants on 4th Avenue. All of them are independent, small locally- owned,” he said.
The street fair is free and runs through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
