ADOT says I-10 remains closed in New Mexico

PHOENIX (AP) - Interstate 10 remains closed in New Mexico Tuesday morning due to hazardous driving conditions caused by snow and ice.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says eastbound I-10 traffic is stopped in Arizona at the U.S. 191 junction.
Many drivers are choosing to turn around at the interchange.
Local traffic is allowed through to areas such as Bowie and San Simon. However, eastbound I-10 is closed at the New Mexico border.
ADOT recommends that drivers planning to use eastbound I-10 to New Mexico delay those plans until a decision is made to reopen the interstate.
