Police investigate teacher & counselor at Amphi HS

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A teacher and counselor are on paid suspension after a 16 year-old girl told authorities she had sex with the teacher. The counselor is suspended because she withheld a letter that the girl wrote concerning the relationship.
The school called police in October when they found evidence of the relationship. Investigators have executed a search warrant at the home of the teacher, they seized a laptop, cellphone, and a desktop computer.
Police have not made any arrests or charged anyone with a crime. Both the teacher and interview have been interviewed by authorities.
