$1.4M worth of marijuana seized

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Border Patrol agents seized 2,892 pounds of marijuana in the West Desert Tuesday, an estimated $1.4 million worth.
The marijuana bundles were found in different places. Ajo Station's All-Terrain Vehicle unit found 1,508 pounds of marijuana in a hidden brush, an estimated $754,000 worth, according to Border Patrol agents.
An Office of Air and Marine helicopter crew and Casa Grande agents followed tire tracks to find a Chevrolet Suburban covered with a green tarp, the Border Patrol reports. The vehicle had more than 1,300 pounds of marijuana worth about $692,000.
Border Patrol agents continue to use the effective method of tracking to target criminal activity. Suspicious activity can be anonymously reported to the Border Patrol at 1-877-872-7435.
