Police make arrest in shooting investigation

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police have arrested Joe L. Medina, 32, in connection with a shooting investigation.
Sgt. Matt Ronstadt with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that gang unit detectives identified Medina as the suspect in a shooting that took place in the 4300 block of East 29th Street.
On Nov. 18, officer received several 9-1-1 calls reporting shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they found Michael Grijalva, 34, deceased at the scene. A second victim who was approximately 31-years of age, was suffering from life-threatening gunshot trauma.
Medina has been charged with one count each of 1st degree murder, attempted 1st degree murder, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
