Tucson Fire investigating duplex fire

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire is investigating a duplex fire from late Sunday night.
Captain Jeff Langejans with Tucson Fire tells KGUN9 that a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report heavy black smoke coming from the house next door.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they made access from the rear of the structure and reported that it was a duplex. They determined the house had been divided into a large front occupancy and a smaller apartment in the rear where the fire had originated.
There were no injuries and no one was displaced as a cause of the blaze.
Damage to the duplex is estimated at $50,000.
