TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The University of Arizona campus area south of Speedway Blvd. had been experiencing power outages, according to authorities.
Officials with Tucson Fire report a man working on the electric at the UA was doing routine maintenance just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday, when he was shocked.
Fire officials say fuses were blown, which was the cause of the power outage to some campus buildings and street lights. Power has been restored to all of main campus, according to authorities.
Authorities say the injured man is between the ages of 30-35 and he was taken to University Medical Center. The condition of the man is unknown at this time.
