Police make arrest in homicide investigation, victim identified

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old Lucian Frank.
Sgt. Matt Ronstadt with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that on Nov. 9, officer received several 911calls reporting shots heard or shots fired at an apartment located at 3601 South 16th Avenue.
Officers found Frank outside an apartment. He was suffering from apparent gunshot trauma and was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives responded to the scene and their to continue the investigation into the shooting. The initial investigation determined that the apartment was occupied by at least three subjects when the victim became engaged in an argument with at least one of them.
During the argument, 21-year-old James Joshua Adams fired at least one shot, striking the victim while he was outside the apartment door.
Adams has been booked into the Pima County Jail and has been arrested on one count of 2nd degree murder and prohibited possessor.
