TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews from Tucson Electric Power have fixed a line in a substation that left 2,300 customers without power around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Joe Barrios said that the customers without power were located between I-10 & Flowing Wells through midtown. Power was restored by 7:30 p.m. to all customers.
Barrios said the problem that led to the outage was confined to a transmission line in one of their substations. Why the line malfunctioned is still under investigation.
