Veterans Day holiday trash and recycling collection service changes

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - City offices will be closed on Nov. 11, 2011 for the Veterans Day holiday.
Residential and commercial trash and recycling will not be collected on Friday, according to the Environmental Services Office.
All Tucson residential customers that do have Friday services will have their trash and recycling collected on Saturday Nov.12 instead of Friday.
Holiday collection schedules are available online at www.tucsonaz.gov/esd, according to the Environmental Services Office.
The Los Reales Landfill will be open its regularly scheduled hours, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Household Hazardous Waste(HHW) facility will be open on Friday 8:00 a.m.to 12:00 noon, according to the Environmental Services office.
Even though city offices will be closed, customers may leave a message for Environmental Services Customer Services or submit a service at www.tucsonaz.gov/esd and they will contact back no later than the next business day.
Customer Service will be back open on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. of the holiday week.
