Sex offenders moving to Cochise County

SIERRA VISTA-DOUGLAS, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) – Police have notified the public that two convicted male sex offenders will be moving to the Sierra Vista-Douglas area.
Gregory Victor Forbes, 48, and Dakota James Sawvell, 20, have served the sentence imposed on them, according to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office. Both men were convicted of sexual conduct with a minor.
Forbes, who is moving to Sierra Vista, is 5’7 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Sawvell is moving to Whetstone, is 6’0 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff’s office reports that the Level II notification is not intended to increase fear, but to inform the public so the community can be safer.
