TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Thirteen more people have been arrested and released by the Tucson Police Department following last night's Occupy Tucson demonstration.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that on Oct. 31, officers issued arrest
citations and released a total of 13 demonstrators associated with the Occupy Tucson movement.
There were a total of nine arrest citations issued for violations at Armory Park, two at Veinte de Agosto Park and two on the grounds of the Main Library.
The enforcement is related to remaining in a city park after hours, as well as camping on library grounds.
No force was used during any of the contacts and each individual cited was also released after signing their arrest citation, says Hawke.
