GILA BEND, Ariz. (AP) - A royal visitor coming to Gila Bend has residents there flying high. The Royal Air Force says Prince Harry will be participating in Apache Helicopter training at the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field.
The Arizona Republic reports everyone from the mayor to business owners to residents are buzzing. Bar owners hope the Prince will come in to town for a drink with his fellow pilots.
Mayor Ron Henry says royalty has its place and the Prince will be under a lot of security and probably won't set foot in town.
The U.S. Military is treating the whole thing as a top secret event. Harry is on a two-month mission which includes training with live munitions flying attack helicopters while blasting mock targets with missiles and cannons, learning tactical warfare in a place similar to Afghanistan.
