October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

PIMA COUNTY, Ariz.(KGUN9-TV) – Pima Animal Care Center is offering half-price adoption specials to celebrate October being Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.
For the entire month of October, the shelter is offering discounted adoption prices in hopes of finding over 200 dogs and cats a home. The discounted prices are:
Adult Dog: $35 plus a $15 license fee Puppies: $50
Adult Cats: $35 (two for the price of one on Mondays and Tuesdays)
Kittens: $50
Adult Dogs and cats that have been at the shelter for two weeks or longer: $15 (includes the license fee for dogs)
Puppies and kittens in shelter for two weeks or longer: $25
All the adoptable animals have been altered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Pima Animal Care Center will hold off-site adoption events throughout the month. Information can be found at their website www.pimaanimalcare.org.
Pima Animal Care Center, 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open to the public Monday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
