Customs officers seize 36 pounds of drugs

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Officers with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized 36 pounds of hard narcotics and arrested the 44 year-old Mexican national driver at the San Luis Port of Entry.
Officers made the bust on Tuesday when the man tried to enter the United States. A canine alerted to the vehicle and after an inspection they located 16 packages of cocaine with an estimated street value of $362,000.
Authorities arrested the man, impounded the drugs, and seized the vehicle.
