Tucson man found dead inside vehicle; homicide investigation underway

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating a homicide on the South side.
According to Sergeant Matt Ronstadt, dispatchers received a 911 call just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, reporting a suspicious vehicle in the 6000 block of South Fontana Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the body of 26-year old Arturo Arvizu inside the vehicle. He had suffered obvious signs of trauma.
The Gang Unit was called in when detectives discovered indications of gang involvement.
Investigators are working to determine the identity and whereabouts of the suspects, as well as a motive for the killing.
The Tucson Police Department urges anyone with information about this investigation to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
